The battle-tested Knicks had no choice but to vie for the second seed.

Whether you've been present at the arena or tracking the action from afar, the Knicks' approach to their regular-season finale against Chicago on Sunday afternoon was crystal clear. There was no hint of strategic maneuvering for specific matchups in the Eastern Conference playoff landscape. Vince McMahon issued a statement to WWE employees regarding law enforcement agents executing a search warrant and receiving a federal grand jury subpoena.

WWE released its financial results for the second quarter of 2023, which included various legal updates concerning the 2022 investigation by the Board of Directors into Vince McMahon.

As previously reported, allegations of sexual harassment by McMahon towards employees and the use of hush money to conceal the incidents surfaced. Initially, McMahon stepped away from the company, but he returned earlier this year.

According to the filing, federal law enforcement agents executed a search warrant and issued a federal grand jury subpoena to McMahon on July 17, 2023. However, as of now, no charges have been filed.

WrestleVotes shared a statement sent internally by McMahon to WWE employees concerning the situation. The email read:

"In 2022, WWE formed a special committee to review allegations of misconduct against me. That review was concluded in November 2022 following an extensive investigation. Throughout this experience, I have always denied any intentional wrongdoing and continue to do so. I am confident that the government's investigation will be resolved without any findings of wrongdoing. I am focused on completing the recovery process from my recent spinal surgery and on closing our transaction with Endeavor, which will create one of the preeminent global sports and entertainment brands."
