Kayden Carter and Katana Chance lost their Women's Tag Team Championship to Asuka and Kairi Sane on the January 26 episode of "SmackDown." Tonight, they get an opportunity to reclaim the title as the two teams face off in a rematch. In another development in the women's division, the first participant in the Women's Elimination Chamber match at WWE Elimination Chamber will be determined. This match holds the potential to challenge Rhea Ripley's Women's World Championship, with Becky Lynch facing Shayna Baszler in a Qualifier match.
GUNTHER has held the Intercontinental Championship for an impressive 606 days and counting, securing the title by defeating Ricochet on the June 10, 2022 episode of "WWE SmackDown." In honor of this accomplishment, "The Ring General" will be commemorating the occasion with a celebration.
Imperium will be well-represented on tonight's show, with Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser teaming up to face New Day, The Creed Brothers, and #DIY in a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team match. The victorious team will move on to challenge Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne on this Friday's "SmackDown" to determine the contenders for Damian Priest and Finn Balor's Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship on February 24.
Looking ahead to Judgment Day, JD McDonagh is set to go one-on-one with The Miz following a physical altercation in the ring between Judgment Day and Awesome Truth last week. Rhodes responds to the call, arriving and asking what Rollins and St. Louis want to discuss. Rollins reaffirms his belief in the World Heavyweight Championship's prestige and emphasizes the need for their WrestleMania match to prove who is the best. He challenges Rhodes to confirm if he's choosing to face him at WrestleMania 40.
Before Rhodes can respond, Drew McIntyre's entrance interrupts the conversation. McIntyre expresses confusion and disappointment, suggesting that Rollins and Rhodes are about to ruin their WrestleMania opportunity. He addresses Rollins, referencing their shared disdain for CM Punk and mentioning a commissioned t-shirt mocking Punk's inability to headline WrestleMania. Turning to Rhodes, McIntyre encourages him to fulfill the storyline he has been talking about for two years and not disappoint his father.
Rollins questions why McIntyre assumes he would face him for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania if Rhodes declines. Ciampa and Woods initiate the match, locking up as the bell rings. Ciampa starts with a shoulder tackle, but Woods counters with a dropkick and tags in Kingston. Kingston executes a crossbody from the top rope and tags Woods back in. The New Day employs double-team maneuvers on Ciampa, with Woods finishing with an elbow drop. Kingston returns, performing a double stomp on Ciampa's arm as Woods holds it extended. Ciampa retaliates with a boot, and Kaiser becomes the legal participant, delivering a double dropkick to Kingston.
After the break, Kaiser lands an elbow on Kingston, who responds by leveling him after flying out of the corner. Woods tags in, hitting Vinci with a leg lariat and delivering a forearm to Ciampa. Julius enters the ring, but Woods takes him out. Gargano tackles Woods through the middle rope, then dives over the top with Ciampa, targeting The Creeds outside. Kingston executes a double dropkick on #DIY before Imperium intervenes, pulling him out and attacking him. Gargano then flies over the top to neutralize Imperium, and Julius delivers a Swanton Bomb. Ciampa places Woods on his shoulders, performing an Air Raid Crash and taking out the other six participants.
Post another break, New Day pulls Imperium and Ciampa off the top rope. Brutus performs a moonsault on Kaiser and attempts a pin, but New Day breaks it. Vinci tags in, leveling Brutus and stomping on him, but Julius retaliates. Gargano tackles Julius, and Kingston takes him down with The Boom Drop. Kaiser lands a clothesline on Kingston, and Woods executes a gutbuster on him. Ciampa sends Woods to the outside, and Brutus hits a shoulder pounce on him while applying an Ankle Lock on Vinci. Ciampa attempts a Sleeper on Brutus, but Julius intervenes, performing a double suplex on Ciampa and Woods. Vinci nearly taps, but the others break the hold in time.
Julius places Vinci in an Electric Chair position, and Brutus performs the Brutus Ball from the top. Gargano kicks Julius, and #DIY executes Meeting In The Middle on Vinci for the victory.

Following the match, Becky Lynch enters the ring, followed by Shayna Baszler.
Women's Elimination Chamber Qualifier Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler
The match commences with a lock-up, followed by both participants applying submission holds alternately. Zoey Stark is seen observing the action from backstage. Baszler executes an arm drag and a knee, but Lynch throws her to the outside and lands a dropkick beneath the bottom rope. Lynch attempts a right hand from the apron, but Baszler blocks it and delivers a head kick, followed by a boot as Lynch sits next to the ring steps.
Upon returning from the break, Lynch performs a flying shoulder tackle, but Baszler counters with a German suplex and a sliding knee. Lynch prepares for the Manhandle Slam, but Baszler prevents her from executing it. Baszler then tries to apply the Dis-Arm-Her, but Lynch resists, leading to Lynch colliding into the bottom rope. Lynch delivers two kicks and climbs to the top, but Baszler pulls her down and executes a running knee. Despite a pin attempt, Lynch kicks out. Liv Morgan observes the match from backstage as Lynch sends Baszler crashing into the mat, gearing up for the Manhandle Slam. Baszler transitions into an Ankle Lock, but Lynch escapes and attempts a leg drop off the top with Baszler draped from the middle rope. Baszler evades it and ascends to the top. Lynch follows, delivering a superplex, and transitions into the Dis-Arm-Her, but Baszler breaks free.
Lynch and Baszler exchange open palm strikes, and Baszler applies the Kirifuda Clutch. Lynch reverses into a pinfall, but Baszler kicks out. Lynch then executes the Manhandle Slam, securing the victory.

Following the break, Rhea Ripley enters the ring.
Rhea Ripley Issues a Call Nia Jax
Ripley states that even though Lynch has earned a spot in the Women's Elimination Chamber match, her focus is on Nia Jax, whom she calls out.
Adam Pearce arrives in the ring and intervenes, stating that they won't proceed with that at the moment. He informs Ripley that he has scheduled her to face Nia Jax for the Women's World Championship at WWE Elimination Chamber and encourages her to exit the ring.
Before Ripley can leave, Jax's entrance music plays, and she enters, brushing past Pearce and delivering a right hand to Ripley. Ripley retaliates by sending Jax into Pearce and unleashing a flurry of shoulders on Jax in the corner. As security rushes down to separate them, Ripley continues throwing right hands. Jax fends off the security and climbs to the middle rope, executing the A-Nia-Lator before leaving with a satisfied grin.
The focus then shifts to a video recap of the recent events involving Bayley and Damage CTRL from the previous Friday.
Returning to ringside, Alpha Academy makes their entrance, followed by Ivar and Valhalla.
