The New England Patriots are reportedly looking to swiftly complete their offensive staff, and they are targeting former Seahawks and Rams assistant Andy Dickerson as their new offensive-line coach, as per ESPN's Mike Reiss. Dickerson, aged 42, joined the Seattle Seahawks in the 2021 season, initially serving as the offensive run game coordinator and later taking over as the offensive line coach in 2022. During his tenure with Seattle, Dickerson played a key role in coaching up rookie tackles Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas, making them the first rookie tackle duo to start a team's first 15 games since the 1970 merger. Dickerson, who interviewed for offensive coordinator positions with the Browns and Bengals earlier in the offseason, also had previous experience with the Rams from 2012-20 as an assistant offensive line coach, working under head coach Sean McVay for four seasons. Notably, Dickerson has connections to the New England area, having played offensive line at Tufts from 1999-02 and worked as an operations department intern with the Patriots in 2004. If he joins the Patriots, Dickerson would replace Adrian Klemm as the team's offensive line coach. Klemm, who coached the Patriots' offensive line for just one season, faced limitations during the 2023 season due to health issues.
