Beyoncé unveils the title of her latest album as 'Act II: Cowboy Carter.'

Beyoncé announced the title of her upcoming album, "Cowboy Carter," on her website this Tuesday. Scheduled for release on March 29, this country music project serves as the anticipated "Act II" following her 2022 album, "Renaissance."

Two singles from the album, "16 Carriages" and the chart-topping "Texas Hold ‘Em," have already been released. The latter marked Beyoncé's first No. 1 country single in the U.S., making her the first Black woman to achieve this feat.

The homepage of Beyoncé’s website showcases an image of a horse saddle adorned with a red, white, and blue sash labeled "Country Carter." On the merchandise page, Beyoncé introduced limited edition CDs featuring alternative cover photos revealing half of her face. Additionally, four vinyl variants in red, white, blue, and black are available. Box set editions include a bonus track and T-shirts displaying the album title on the chest.

Fans have been eagerly anticipating the next musical endeavor from Beyoncé ever since she first unveiled "Renaissance" in 2022. At that time, the acclaimed artist disclosed that the album marked the commencement of a larger "three-act project," sparking rumors and excitement among her followers.
