The battle-tested Knicks had no choice but to vie for the second seed.

Whether you've been present at the arena or tracking the action from afar, the Knicks' approach to their regular-season finale against Chicago on Sunday afternoon was crystal clear. There was no hint of strategic maneuvering for specific matchups in the Eastern Conference playoff landscape. This team, guided by their coach and propelled by their MVP candidate, viewed the Bulls' red jerseys as merely another obstacle to overcome in their quest for victory. While it may sound cliché, it's undeniably true that this sentiment encapsulates the essence of New York's 50-win season, culminating in an overtime triumph over the Bulls and clinching the No. 2 seed in the upcoming playoffs. "Not Gonna Work": Amid a contentious past, Hulk Hogan's rumored WrestleMania XL return was mocked online.

History of professional wrestling fans will always remember January 23, 1984. That day was the beginning of Hulkamania and it forever altered the pro wrestling scene. Nearly four decades ago, the legend of Hulk Hogan commenced. WWE threw the greatest celebration imaginable. The first was a unique film that was shown on a Monday Night Raw program. The DVD has footage of The Hulkster himself discussing the origins of Hulkamania, along with his WWF title victory over The Iron Sheik at Madison Square Garden in New York in the 1980s.

Additionally, he discussed the Royal Rumble at the conclusion of the montage. Even while that gave rise to return-related rumors, those were insignificant in comparison to current rumors that the WWE may bring the icon to WrestleMania XL.

Without a doubt, Hulk Hogan is a living legend. His name has become closely associated with wrestling, or maybe wrestling is simply associated with his. However, they complement one another. And based on a recent PWInsider article, the WWE is attempting to bring the icon to WrestleMania, so they are undoubtedly aware of this truth. "Over the past week, there has been talk that WWE is working to include Hulk Hogan in some capacity during WrestleMania XL week," they stated. There is currently no information regarding the role or capacity.

It is important to remember that Hogan did assert in 2023 that he desired one final WrestleMania match. The WWE stars in the locker room won't be too excited to lose to a 70-year-old superstar, given the heat he packs behind the scenes with some of the company's wrestlers and his penchant for burying potential. The fans aren't thrilled with the idea either.
